The new Alinco Cables add two more
bands of operation to Hams wanting to a Plug and Play Solution.
All you need is a computer, soundcard, Internet connection, an IRLP
Interface Board, a Plug and Play Interface Cable and an Alinco to have
your own affordable IRLP node.
Be aware
that the new Alinco MK III models are NOT PnP compatible without
removing the new built in TNC.

These cables connect the
signals from the Radio's Data Port to the IRLP Board and SoundBlaster
Card, and contains all of the signals properly wired for your version
2.01 or greater IRLP board. You basically plug end one into the radio,
the other into the IRLP board, and connect the audio cables to the sound
card... That's it!
To prevent overheating when
on reflector connections, these radios will require a full time fan and
reduced power. |
